MUMBAI: Darshan Raval is one of the most talented singers in Bollywood. He is a gen-next star and has a promising career ahead. 

The talented crooner started his career with a popular singing reality show. Though Darshan didn't win, his career definitely took off on a high note. 

Darshan has a number of chartbuster songs to his credit including Chogada, Kamariya, Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga title track and Odhani to name a few.

Apart from his terrific singing skills, Darshan is known for being a complete performer and a crowd-puller. He definitely knows how to entertain everyone with his presence. 

The singer enjoys a huge fan base who completely drools over his hot looks and fine personality. 

And now, here's an interesting fact about Darshan which not many are aware of. We have seen celebs changing their names, surnames, or adding an extra alphabet before or after they enter the showbiz world. 

The same happened with Darshan. The only difference is that it happened years ago, way before he became a singer. 

In one of his interviews, Darshan had revealed how he was not happy with his name Darshan and wanted to change it. He said that his father’s and grandfather's names started with the letter R and he also wanted his name to start with R. 

So, Darshan changed his name to Raj when he was in the fifth grade. Later, he was referred to as Raj Darshan by everyone which was worst according to him. 

Later, Darshan dropped Raj from his name and opted for just Darshan.
