Shantanu Maheshwari says that it was an auditioning process and he did not expect something like this will ever happen, the actor says that he was mentally prepared for rejection, but when he got the call for selection he was surprised. He was really very happy and shared this news immediately with everyone. It was that moment in his life which cannot be defined or described.

On collaborating with these amazing bunch of talented people the actor revealed it was a different experience which is very difficult to explain, Sanjay Leela Bhansali is a genius man who knows how to create the magic on-screen and to witness this live was a different experience. The actor got to see how Sanjay Leela Bhansali is passionate about film making. On the other hand, on working with Alia Bhatt the actor revealed, she is very down to earth and very collaborative, the fans will get to see one of the finest performances of the actress Alia Bhatt. Overall it was a great experience and he was very fortunate enough to be the part of such a beautiful project.

Shantanu Maheshwari on shooting for one shot song Meri Jaan 

The song Meri Jaan which was taken in a single shot has been the talk of the town and on asking about the preparation part, the actor said it was a lot of preparation done before the final shot, when he came to know that it is going to be a single shot song he was very excited and he said he did not had to take any pressure because it was Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s vision and says if someone has trusted on him so he is now willing to give his 100% percent for the project.
