The scope for biopics and docu-dramas has picked up pace in the last couple of years. While movies on stars, singers, and the glamour world have always excited people, movies on sportsmanship and sports have dominated a different genre in itself. While there have been a lot of biopic films and shows on athletes, some have worked and some have not. 

M.S Dhoni: The untold story is one such film that worked wonders and gave a flourishing career boost to all of its actors. 

TellyChakkar always brings you exclusive updates. And we have an exclusively report that a Docu-drama about the life of the ace cricketer M.S Dhoni is in the works and the project is being produced by Anand Kumar. The ace director also has a production house by the name of Anand Kumar Productions.

Known for his eccentric settings, Anand Kumar’s debut film, Delhii Heights, starring Jimmy Shergill and Neha Dhupia, was released in 2007 by Sivaji Productions as their entry into the Mumbai film industry. He also wrote and directed the film Delhii Heights. His other films are Zila Ghaziabad (2013), starring Sanjay Dutt, Arshad Warsi, Vivek Oberoi, and Minisha Lamba, and Jugaad (2009), starring Manoj Bajpai.

While fans have already seen a dramatised version of Dhoni’s story, this doc-drama is set to cover other aspects and drama surrounding his career and life.
