A day after brother's death, actor Fahmaan Khan is back in Mumbai and shot for his show today. The actor speaks about his brother, Faraaz's illness

MUMBAI: Actor Faraaz Khan's death has been yet another big loss to the Indian Film Industry. The actor was battling with a rare illness since a long time and his demise came as news of deep despair. The actor who acted in films like Mehendi and Fareb passed away after suffering from a neurological disorder. Faraaz was undergoing treatment at a hospital in Bangalore and took his last breath on November 3.
Faraaz's younger brother Fahmaan Khan, who is also an actor by profession and currently the lead of an ongoing show, flew down to the city for his last rites yesterday. Due to work commitment, Faraaz had to come back to Mumbai in a day's time and has resumed shooting from today itself.

Fahmaan Khan has informed us that with a heavy heart he had to leave his parents and family at home and join back work.
Fahmaan had shared, "The whole family is obviously very disturbed with this and it's not going to be easy. Honestly, coming back from home and shooting the same day is the most difficult thing I have done in my lifetime. I reached Mumbai this morning and directly headed to the set for my shoot at 2. It's a process which we have to go through and it is surely not going to be easy. My parents and other family members are there in Bangalore dealing with the pain of losing him".
Fahmaan was in Mumbai when Faraaz breathed his last, "I was in constant touch with my family and that day the same morning they informed me he is dicey today and around 9:40 in the night they informed me that he passed away. The moment he left us, my other brother, his wife and my cousin were there at the hospital. I had just come back home from my shoot when they called me and shared this sad news with me. So, the very next morning I flew down to Bangalore for his last rites."
Sharing the illness of his brother, Fahmaan explains, "To be honest his illness was as rare as he was. The Doctors tried everything possible. It was not a very deadly virus as such in terms if we bifurcate with another virus. The entire process of it developing to something else together brought into demise. The doctor explained to us that the bacteria which he had in his body had developed the kind of bacteria which sat whenever the antibiotics was given to him. The immunity of the human body should be close to 700 minimum but his immunity had come down to 23.9 and that was the last meter of the machine that it can show. So, his body was not fighting with any of the antibiotics. And this was all going through for quite some time. I don't remember the exact medical term of it but his brain had got some virus due to which a lot of issues happened to him. And then his body eventually gave up."
Faraaz was not keeping well for a year and half-revealed his younger brother, "He was struggling with his health for more than a year. Initially, it was detected as Tuberculosis but eventually they said it's not only that there is something more deadly to it and since then he was being treated. It was a combination of different bacteria and viruses in his body."
Fahmaan is garnering praise as the character of Dr.Veer Pratap Singh Rajawat in the newly launched show Apna Time Ayega.
