MUMBAI: Guru starring Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has completed 14 years of its release. Hence, fans took to social media and were seen lauding the actor’s performance. Megastar Amitabh Bachchan also responded to a fan's tweet, and was seen praising his son’s performance in the movie. In his tweet, he agreed with fans that Guru was a fantastic film and Abhishek just nailed it with his acting skills. Hope Abhishek has read his father’s tweet.

A fan’s tweet read, “Heartiest Congratulations for #14YearsOfGuru A film that #AmitabhBachchan ji Sir wished to watch 100 times Gurudev @SrBachchan Sir@juniorbachchan My favourite & watched more than 30 times.” Responding to this Tweet Big B wrote, “yes indeed .. a fantastic film and Abhishek was marvellous.” Guru released in 2007. Abhishek has mentioned in several interviews that receiving praise from his father is not easy, but today coming across this Tweet of Big B, Abhishek will be truly elated.

As fans were raving about the film completing 14 years of its release, they also expressed that they wished to see the star couple once again share screen space.

Guru was one of the best films of the star couple’s film career, which had won several accolades after its release.

As per reports the star couple recently flew to Hyderabad with their daughter Aaradhya Bachchan. The trio was seen wearing masks as they were clicked at the airport.
