MUMBAI: One of the most loved Bollywood jodis is Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor, the duo, time and again have showcased love for each other on social media and in public. Alia has been there as a pillar of strength for the Kapoor family during their hard days in the past few years. Be it Ranbir's GQ India interview in 2018 where he first talked about being in a 'new' relationship to making heads turn at Sonam Kapoor-Anand Ahuja reception together, the couple has always sent the internet in a collective meltdown. 

Today, Alia Bhatt is turning 28 and she rang in the day san beau Ranbir Kapoor. The actor recently revealed that he has been diagnosed with coronavirus and is isolating at his home. While everyone is praying for his quick recovery, girlfriend Alia Bhatt is both praying and missing him immensely. Yesterday night, Ranbir was absent from Alia's 28th birthday bash. in attendance were may stars from Bollywood including Alia's bestie Deepika Padukone, Arjun Kapoor, Malaika Arora, and more. The party was being hosted by Karan Johar, Alia's close friend.

Ranbir's health update was confirmed by his mother, Neetu Kapoor. Neetu had confirmed the news and wrote on her Instagram page, "Thank you for your concern and your good wishes. Ranbir has tested positive for Covid-19. He is on medication and recovering well. He is in self-quarantine at home and following all precautions."

While Ranbir is currently recovering from COVID-19, girlfriend Alia has tested negative. Alia had earlier taken to her Instagram stories and provided a health update for fans. She wrote, "I’ve been reading all your messages of concern and care. I have tested negative for Covid-19 and after isolating and speaking with my doctors, I am back to work from today. Thank you all for all your good wishes! I am taking care and staying safe. You please do the same. Love to you all!”

Alia and Ranbir have been dating for three years now, and Ranbir admitted in an interview last year that they would've tied the knot already had the pandemic not happened. “I don’t want to jinx it by saying anything. I want to tick mark that goal very soon in my life,” he told journalist Rajeev Masand.
