MUMBAI :Ranveer Singh has been in the industry for 12 years. He made a very successful debut with Band Baaja Baaraat, but in these 12 years, there have been a few ups and downs in his career. However, Ranveer has time and again proved that he is one of the most talented actors we have in the industry. 

The actor is now gearing up for the release of Cirkus. The movie, which is directed by Rohit Shetty, will be released on 23rd December 2022. Well, it’s an important film for Ranveer when it comes to the box office.

In the last one year, Cirkus will be Ranveer’s third release. Last year, during Christmas weekend Kabir Khan’s 83 hit the big screens. Ranveer played the role of Kapil Dev in it, and while the movie received amazing reviews, it didn’t do great business at the box office. The film had collected Rs. 109.02 crores, but as the budget of the movie was high, it didn’t get the hit tag. 

Earlier, this year, Jayeshbhai Jordaar starring Ranveer hit the big screens. The film received mixed reviews, and couldn’t get audiences to theatres. The film collected Rs. 15.59 crore and was a flop at the box office. 

Ranveer’s last hit as a lead was the 2019 release Gully Boy. He was seen in the 2021 release Sooryavanshi as well, which did well at the box office, but the actor just had a cameo in it. 

Now, all eyes are on Cirkus and it is expected that the film will end the year with a bang for Bollywood. It’s a Rohit Shetty film and the filmmaker’s movies always attract the masses. Also, the Rohit-Ranveer combo impressed one and all in Simmba, so everyone has high expectations from Cirkus.

Apart from Ranveer, Cirkus also stars Varun Sharma, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Pooja Hegde in the lead roles.
