MUMBAI: Fans and followers of Hrithik Roshan and Alia Bhatt can smile as reportedly the two might collaborate for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kaithiawadi.
SLB's fans were heartbroken when he shelved his much-anticipated project Inshallah with Salman Khan and Alia Bhatt. After all, it was supposed to mark his reunion with Salman after two decades. Besides, SLB was also looking forward to directing Alia for the first time. But soon after Inshallah was shelved, he surprised his fans with his new project Gangubai Kathiawadi. The much-talked-about movie will feature Alia Bhatt playing the titular role and the audience can’t keep calm about it. Interestingly, ever since the project has been announced, there have been speculations about the remaining cast of the movie.
And now if the media reports are to be believed, the filmmaker is planning to rope in Hrithik Roshan as the male lead in Gangubai Kathiawadi. According to a report published in Filmfare, the Padmaavat director has approached the War star to play the role of the yesteryear don Haji Mastan in the movie which will begin rolling in December this year. Although Hrithik hasn’t given a nod to the project, if the reports turned out to be true it will mark Hrithik’s first collaboration with the Raazi actress.
