Kangana Ranaut’s Twitter account suspended

Twitter suspends Kangana’s account over controversial tweet.

MUMBAI: Kangana Ranaut has been vocal about her views, and over time, we have seen the actress getting into some serious arguments due to her point of view. From raising her voice in the SSR case to the farmer issues, she has been grabbing the headlines.

Kangana had joined Twitter just two years ago and has been grabbing eyeballs for her tweets and views since. At times, she is applauded, and sometimes, she is badly trolled.

Once again, Kangana raised her opinion on Bengal’s elections, and that led Twitter to suspend her account permanently as it cited violence.

The account repeatedly violated Twitter's policy on hateful conduct and abusive behavior, the social media site said today.

The tweet by her seemed to urge Prime Minister Narendra Modi to "tame" Mamata Banerjee using his "Virat Roop" from "early 2000s" in Bengal.

This tweet called for violence, and thus, the social media site took the decision of blocking her account.

In the past also, Kangana's tweets sparked a lot of controversies, but Twitter did give her many warnings as social media can be influential.

Kangana didn’t take it seriously and tweeted about violence merged with politics, which is very dangerous, and social media is definitely not the place to speak about all this.

Twitter seems to be clear about not activating her account anytime soon.

Thalaivi and Dhaakad are the upcoming project of the actress.
