MUMBAI: Kangana Ranaut, who has acted in films like Life in a... Metro, Fashion, and Tanu Weds Manu, is reportedly in talks to play lead in Bollywood remake of Amala Paul’s Aadai.

According to media reports, Kangana, who was last seen in Judgementall Hai Kya opposite Rajkummar Rao, is being considered for the Bollywood remake of Aadai which featured Amala Paul in the lead. Reportedly, filmmaker Vikram Bhatt has acquired the rights for the Hindi remake of the Tamil thriller. The media reports also suggested that the remake will be helmed by Rathna Kumar who had also directed the original movie. For the uninitiated, Aadai revolves around a free-spirited girl who gets stuck in an office building after a farewell party in a naked situation. Although no official confirmation has been made about Kangana being approached for Aadai remake, it will be quite interesting to see her doing this challenging role.
