Kangana Ranaut's Manikarnika is loved more by audience than Vicky Kaushal's Uri: The Surgical Strike
The year 2019 began with Uri: The Surgical Strike which might just earn Rs 200 crore by the end of its run at the box office, while Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi released last Friday and it has already scored a record for this year.
Vicky Kaushal starrer Uri, being the first release of this year, enjoyed a lot of perks on the record tally but not anymore. Kangana Ranaut’s film has left it behind to score the highest opening weekend of 2019.
Uri earned Rs 35.73 crore in three days, but Manikarnika made Rs 42.55 crore in its first weekend.

THIS is what Bhumi Pednekar thought of Disha Patani
Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar graced the couch of Karan Johar's chat show and made candid revelations throughout the episode. From Rajkummar expressing his desire to date Deepika Padukone to Bhumi revealing what she thought of Ranveer Singh, Rajkummar Rao, Disha Patani and Parineeti Chopra when she took their auditions, they revealed it all.
In a statement, Bhumi said that she initially thought that Raj was okay-ish, whereas Parineeti was very good. Not to forget, she found Disha Patani to be a 'kaccha nimbu'. And we wonder why. Nevertheless, everyone is entitled to their opinion.

Rajkummar Rao spills the beans about his crush on Aishwarya Rai Bachchan
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Rajkummar Rao shared screen space for the very first time in Fanney Khan, and people were too excited to see them together onscreen.
In the latest episode of Koffee With Karan 6, Rajkummar made an appearance with Bhumi Pednekar. On the show, Rajkummar revealed that he had a major crush on Aishwarya when he met her for the very first time.
Aamir Khan on Shah Rukh Khan backing out of Saare Jahaan Se Achcha
Shah Rukh Khan has opted out of Indian astronaut Rakesh Sharma's biopic Saare Jahaan Se Accha. It was said that after filming a sequence of the space centre in his last outing, Zero, SRK wasn't sure of taking up something on the similar lines.
In a media interaction, when Aamir was asked about SRK backing out of the biopic, Mr Perfectionist questioned back, "Isn't Shah Rukh Khan doing that film?"
He further said, "Those are only reports, let's wait until he makes an announcement about it."
