MUMBAI: It’s been a long since we have heard about the collaboration between Kartik Aaryan and Karan Johar for Dostana 2. However, now there is a buzz that Kartik is no longer a part of this venture as Dharma Productions is planning to replace the actor.  As per the sources there is buzz that Kartik has expressed creative differences over the script of ‘Dostana 2’. Moreover, his talent agency has not been giving dates for the film and hence the production house has decided to replace the actor, and has vowed never to work with him again.

‘Dostana 2’ is being helmed by Collin DCunha and features Janhvi Kapoor as the leading lady. The film will also mark newbie Lakshya’s debut in Bollywood. While Janhvi and Lakshya continue to be associated with the project, it remains to be seen who will replace Kartik in the much-awaited film.

Having recently recovered from COVID-19, Kartik Aaryan wrapped the dubbing of his next OTT movie. On the big screen, he will be seen in horror comedy ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’. The Anees Bazmee directorial features Kiara Advani as the leading lady. Besides this, Kartik is also in talks with filmmakers like Om Raut and Hansal Mehta.
