MUMBAI: The trailer of Suniel Shetty, Vivek Oberoi, and Sooraj Pancholi starrer Kesari Veer: Legends of Somanth is out, and the trailer launch event marked the presence of the cast, director Prince Dhiman, and producer Kanu Chauhan among others. During the recently held event, film director Prince Dhiman talked about the famous Somnath temple and shared how the film highlights the unforgettable sacrifices made by the unsung warrior Veer Hamirji Gohil and the fearless warrior Vegda Ji.
Prince Dhiman said, "What many people don't know about the Somnath temple is that it is the first Jyotirlinga in Gujarat, and many attempts have been made to destroy it. Hamirji Gohil and Vegda Ji sacrificed their lives to save it, save our Dharma, and our Sanskriti. If there is a saffron flag unfurling on the temple, it's because of their sacrifices."
He added, "We made this film to portray those sacrifices so that our nation knows about our brave hearts and warriors. The cast and those who are connected with this film have worked sincerely. Everyone has done a fabulous job, just because of Somnath. I would like to conclude by saying that I haven't directed this film; this film is directed by Mahadev. He is the biggest director."
The recently released trailer offers a peek into Suniel Shetty's role as a fearless warrior, Vegda Ji, and Sooraj Pancholi as the unsung warrior, Veer Hamirji Gohil, who came together to save the temple from the invading forces of the menacing villain Zafar, played by Vivek Oberoi. Apart from the trio, the film also introduces Akanksha Sharma, who is making her big Bollywood debut with the historical drama.
Featuring an ensemble cast led by Suniel Shetty, Vivek Oberoi, Sooraj Pancholi, and debutant Akanksha Sharma, Kesari Veer is directed by Prince Dhiman, produced by Kanu Chauhan under the Chauhan Studios banner.
