Tara Alisha Berry whose demure charm and skilled acting pleased one and all in Mastram will now be seen in a lead role opposite Jimmy Shergill Gun Pe Done where both she and Jimmy will be seen playing aspiring actors. Says Tara, "I'm playing Razia. She's an aspiring actress. The role is very diff from what I've played before in the sense that her personality is quite dominating l and she's super ambitious." The way Tara landed the role also has an interesting story. Says Tara,"I was visiting Abhik sir's (director) office to meet one of the ADs who had called me for a meeting. Abhi saw me then through his office window and called me inside and said, 'You are the heroine of my next film. And he hadn't even seen Mastram then." Gun Pe Done is also the first film that will see Tara pairing up with a senior actor like Jimmy Shergill. Talking about the experience, Tara says, "I was very nervous at first but then I met Jimmy and realised that he's a lovely person. So I felt at ease. Also there are other senior actors like Vijay Raaz, Pankaj Jha, Deepraj Rana, Sanjay Mishra. I'm very lucky to be working with such amazing people so early on in my career." And Tara is only too eager to learn from all these talented actors. "I plan to soak up as much knowledge as I can from all of them!" Post Mastram, Tara's life has changed for good. Says the pretty actress, "Life has changed in the sense that I have experienced some wonderful genuine appreciation from random people in the most unexpected places. I have got unanimously positive appreciation from people who have no connection to me whatsoever and I am grateful for that." For those who also wanted to see Tara in a new spicy avatar, Gun Pe Done will just do the trick. Tara will be seen performing an item number in the movie. Reveals Tara, "I have a fabulous item song in the film. For the first time, I will be dancing in a film to an item number and I am myself very excited. My shoot starts with the song and trust me the number is amazing and I hope and pray that audiences too like the song." Well, we too are waiting with googly eyes to see the item number, Tara.
