Meera Chopra quoted, "I do like to voice my opinion on social media and a lot of the time I also get trolled. People send me abusive comments but that will not stop me from doing what I do. There was a time when I used to tweet a lot about political issues. And I got a call from a famous producer from the industry. I don't want to take his name but he said, 'Meera if you want to work here' please stop tweeting about the political agendas in the country'. I said why? so he replied 'Nobody wants trouble and this is calling for unwanted trouble'. I heard that but I still kept tweeting but yes I slowed down tweeting on political agendas because I started realising that nothing is going to change because of our tweets. What happens with such tweets is a social war gets started on the said platform and people start trolling you. And nothing changes. I have not seen things changing by you voicing your opinion. But that doesn't mean you should not voice your opinion you should but only when your heart tells you to."

She added, "Like recently, I tweeted why there is no lockdown on kumbh mela. Because I genuinely felt that when I saw those pictures of thousands of people together taking a dip. When the whole country is fighting with pandemic. People are dying. Doctors themselves are saying it is much more dangerous than the previous one. What sense does it make to put a lockdown in Maharashtra and not the place where lakhs are gathering."
