MUMBAI: Amidst the Nana Patekar and Tanushree Dutta sexual harassment controversy, a video featuring Akshay Kumar allegedly speaking against Tanushree went viral. The shocking video shows the actors addressing the issue and sharing his thoughts. Soon after the video went viral, the actor came out and claimed that the video is fake.
The actor has approached the cyber cell at the Bandra Kurla Complex and filed a complaint against the morphed video. The video was edited to show Akshay reacting to the ongoing controversy. As per some media reports, Akshay’s complaint states that the video was from a press conference that the actor was a part of a couple of days ago. In the video, the question he was asked was shown as related to Tanushree, but the answer he gave was to a question asked about Kareena and his upcoming movie.
Akshay found the video doing the rounds a few days after it was released online. He believes the fake video will harm his reputation. The police said that they tried to find the video on YouTube, but it seems to be blocked or removed. They have asked him to give the video. The inquiry is still going on.
