MUMBAI :Today is 26th November. 14 years ago, a terrorist attack had taken place in Mumbai that had not just shocked the city but the whole world. The whole of South Mumbai was under terror, and many people lost their lives in this attack.

The Attacks of 26/11

One of the last films of Ram Gopal Varma that left a mark was the 2013 release The Attacks of 26/11. The movie starred Nana Patekar in the lead role and received a positive response from the critics.

Earlier, this year, we saw a movie titled Major which was based on the life of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan who sacrificed his life while saving people at the Taj Mahal hotel. It was a good film, and Adivi Sesh impressed everyone with his performance in it.

State of Siege: 26/11

In 2020, a web series titled State of Siege: 26/11 premiered on Zee5 which told the story of 26/11 through the point of view of NSG Commandos. It starred Arjan Bajwa, Arjun Bijlani, Jyoti Gauba, Vivek Dahiya, Tara Alisha Berry, Mukul Dev and Naren Kumar.
 

Mumbai Diaries 26/11

Terrorists had also targeted a hospital, and Mumbai Diaries 26/11, an Amazon Prime Video web series showcased the story of how doctors and medical staff faced difficult situations during the terror attack.

Hotel Mumbai

Not just Indian directors, but international filmmakers as well have made movies on the subject, and one of them was Hotel Mumbai. The film starred Dev Patel, Armie Hammer, Nazanin Boniadi, and Anupam Kher in the lead roles.
