MUMBAI: Kriti Sanon will be seen with Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi in the film Bachchhan Paandey. Post the release of this film, Kriti will be seen in films like Shehzada, Bhediya, Ganapath, Adipurush, and a few others. 

During her recent media interaction, Kriti Sanon was asked about her upcoming films and what motivated her to sign films one after the other.

Kriti Sanon said, "Strangely, I signed most of the films in 2020. But I think people were sitting at home during the pandemic and writing stories. I got different kinds of films during the pandemic. It is very exciting for an actor to chose and be a part of different worlds. So, these were all the films that I was in talks about in 2020. And then, we started shooting the film when the shooting was allowed post-pandemic. So, I believe that I am fortunate and blessed that finally, I am getting opportunities to choose films from a larger number." 

She further adds, "So I was telling Arshad Warsi sometime back that it is very easy to get typecast and do the same kind of roles. Like when I did Bareilly Ki Barfi, post that 99% of the time the films coming to me were where I was getting to play the small-town girl and in the similar genre. And it is nice to reach a point where people are coming and asking what kind of film you want to do, which is very rare. It is not something that I heard before this year. I think ir is very exciting because you can tell people that you want to do this genre or haven't touched this world yet. Or that I would love to play a grey character. That change is really nice to see. When it happens slowly, you don't even realize it. And I hope this year will be special, starting with Bachchhan Paandey.

Bachchhan Paandey has been the talk of the town from the time the trailer of the film was released. The film is directed by Farhad Samji and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala.
