MUMBAI: The Bollywood diva Kareena Kapoor has been quite a private person for a while, but in the last couple of years, the actress has started showing her different sides to fans. After making her Instagram debut, Bebo also penned her debut book which will inspire the crowd. The book is titled Kareena Kapoor Khan's Pregnancy Bible and she made many revelations in the same.

The diva also held up a LIVE session in which she spoke about her two pregnancies and being a mother. Kareena and Saif welcomed their first child Taimur Ali Khan in 2016 and then Jehangir in 2021.

It is not Jeh but it is Jehangir

One of the biggest revelations in Kareena Kapoor's book was the name of his second son. Earlier it reported that the name is Jeh. In the book, it is mentioned that the name is Jehangir and Jeh is the nickname.

Complete transformation into 'another person'

In her book, Kareen talks about her pregnancy cravings. She shared, "When not pregnant, I love being vegetarian. But I got ravenous for meat while pregnant and craved cold cuts, salt and soy. It was as if I was another person."

Took her wedding ring off

She also shared how her fingers swelled up during her pregnancy. She writes, "I took off my rings by my eighth month. Forced to choose between my pepperoni and my wedding ring, I chose pepperoni!"

Reduced sex drive

In her LIVE session with Karan Johor, she spoke of her sex drive during her pregnancy. She mentioned, "But sometimes, it’s just a feeling of repulsion. You are just in a mental state when you don’t know what to think. It’s so important to have a supportive man and most men should not put pressure on their wives to a) look beautiful while they are pregnant and b) feel they are any less. That pressure shouldn’t be there or like this is it, our regular sex life has to be super-active."

Tough time in second pregnancy

In the same session, she quoted, "This pregnancy was extremely difficult compared to Taimur’s, which was a breeze. I had loved it, enjoyed it and that gave me the courage to do it again. But this was different. I had bouts where I would sit down and think, ‘I don’t think I can do this, don’t think anything is going to be okay."

Didn't find the sex of the babies

Kareena also mentioned that she and Saif didn't know the sex of their child. She penned, "Saif and I were always excited about going together for my scans. Before you wonder, I can tell you we were never bothered about finding the sex of either of our babies."

Delivery time with Taimur

Kareena also talked about her delivery and wrote, "Taimur was an abrupt Caesarean. I literally had no milk for over 14 days. I was completely dry. My mom and my nurse would be hovering by my side, pressing at my boobs and wondering why 'it' wasn't happening." But as tough as it was in her first pregnancy, it was smooth in her second pregnancy."

Breastfeeding for Jehangir

She also talked about breastfeeding Jehangirl and wrote, "I had much better flow and did manage to nurse him. I'll admit it - breastfeeding him (and doing it exclusively for a few weeks) felt like an achievement!"
