MUMBAI: Jiah Khan and committed suicide on 3rd of June 2013 at her residence in Juhu. But her family claims that there is some foul play in her death and that the investigation wasn’t done well.

As per media reports BBC has released a documentary named: Death in Bollywood which is based on the Jiah Khan suicide.

It focuses on the late actress’s death, the incidents that led to it along with the aftermath. Mother Rabia Khan, as well as, boyfriend Sooraj Pancholi has been mentioned in it.

Post the investigation police had confirmed that the actresses passed away by hanging herself in her apartment and called it a simple case of Suicide. But her mother alleged Sooraj with abetment to suicide.

Jiah’s family always felt that there is some foul play in her death and that’s why her mother had hired a private forensic investigator, Jason Payne James, who also speculates that the case was not suicide. Jason claims that the distinctive oval mark found on the neck could not really be caused by a dupatta.

Owing to this case, BBC had released a three episodic documentary involving all the happenings and facts.  The reviews of the first episode as surfaced online and it's been said that it's very sensitive and an emotional one.

Everything including the 6-page suicide letter to Sooraj Pancholi’s initial arrest and eventual sentencing have been shown.

Death of Bollywood released last night at 9 pm. Ever since the international media is flooded with reports around who Jiah Khan really was, how mother Rabia Khan struggled and similar details.
