MUMBAI: There are several B-Town celebs who have made it in the industry despite never having attended college. While fans are often interested to know about their success stories, little is known about their education details.

Take a look at the list of the bollywood stars who chose to drop out from their college to pursue their career in acting.

1.Alia Bhatt 

Alia Bhatt started her acting career after graduating from Mumbai's Jamnabai Narsee School. She then became an actor in 2012 with the film Student of the Year. Alia did not complete her schooling after graduating from high school.

2.Ranbir Kapoor 

In his tenth grade, Ranbir received a 54 percent. He approached his parents and informed them that he would not be continuing his studies. So, Ranbir hasn't even finished high school yet! He did, however, study filmmaking in New York for a while.

3.Katrina Kaif 

Katrina's mother worked in social services, therefore the family migrated to different countries on a frequent basis. The actress was never in school and was tutored at home by a series of tutors. She began modelling while she was quite young.

4.Kangana Ranaut

Kangana Ranaut attended DAV in Chandigarh for her education. The actor desired to be a doctor and wanted to work in the medical field. She changed her mind after failing a test and went into modelling before ending in B-town as an actor.

5.Aamir Khan

Aamir dropped out after finishing his 12th grade at Narsee Monjee College. After that, the actor joined a theatre group and went full-time into acting. He worked as an assistant director for his uncle, Nasir Hussain, and acted in the silent film Paranoia as a 16-year-old.

6.Deepika Padukone 

Deepika quit badminton to pursue a career as a model. The actor went on to the Indira Gandhi National Open University to study sociology (IGNOU). She did, however, drop out of college to pursue her modelling career.

7.Priyanka Chopra 

The former Miss World planned to be a criminal psychologist. She completed her studies at the Army Public School in Bareilly. Priyanka later had to drop out of Jai Hind College in Mumbai to pursue her modelling career.

8.Akshay Kumar

Akshay Kumar attended Mumbai's Don Bosco High School for his studies. He enrolled in Guru Nanak Khalsa College but dropped out to work as a chef and practise martial arts. He began acting after returning to India, and the rest is history.

9.Salman Khan 

Salman went to Gwalior's Scindia School and then Mumbai's St. Stanislaus High School. He later dropped out from St. Xavier's College in Mumbai.

10.Kareena Kapoor Khan 

Kareena intended to study law at Mithibai College, but she changed her mind and went into modelling instead.

11.Aishwarya Rai Bachchan 

Aishwarya planned on studying medicine, but she changed her mind and enrolled in the Rachana Sansad Academy of Architecture instead. She subsequently decided to forego her plans to become an architect to pursue her career as a model.

12.Kajol Devgan 

Kajol started working in the film industry when she was seventeen years old. As a result, the actress was unable to complete her high school.

13.Tiger Shroff 

Tiger Shroff graduated from the American School of Bombay. He didn't want to go to college. As a result, the actor completed his 12th grade and began modelling right away.

14.Arjun Kapoor 

Arjun received his education at Mumbai's Arya Vidya Mandir School. After failing his 12th grade board examinations, he dropped out.
