MUMBAI: Arjun Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, and Sanjay Dutt starrer Panipat: The Great Betrayal is all set to hit the screens on December 6th. It is based on the Third Battle of Panipat. The trailer of the film was released a few days ago.

Recently, Peshwa Bajirao’s descendant, Shadab Ali, said that he would approach the court as one of Kriti’s dialogues in Panipat defames Mastani as well as the Peshwa. In the trailer, Kriti says, ‘Maine suna hai Peshwa jab akele muhim par jaate hain to ek Mastani ke saath laut te hain.’

Shadab has sent notices to the producers and the director to remove that portion or make necessary changes. If they don’t respond, he’ll move to the court against them.

Well, the film seems to be mired in controversies. The audience, however, is eagerly awaiting its release. What’s your take on the dialogue?
