Post a warning for Kamaal R Khan, Hansal Mehta urges Amitabh Bachchan to unfollow the former; tweets it as a petition

Filmmaker Hansal Mehta took to twitter to lash out Kamaal R Khan and his stints by tweeting a serious warning to not involve him. Also Mehta urges his fans to sign a petition as a request for Amitabh Bachchan to unfollow KRK.

MUMBAI : While keeping a check through the Twitter trends these days, it won't be a complete surprise if film critic Kamaal R Khan is experiencing sleepless nights. It all started after filmmaker Milap Zaveri accused KRK of raking profit off Sushant Singh Rajput's death by sharing a video. The first half of it saw KRK roasting Sushant Singh Rajput and questioning his acting skills in his review of Kedarnath, while the other part was KRK expressing shock and getting emotional upon hearing the news of Sushant's demise. Milap also called him 'fraud and disgusting'. Among many other celebs, director Hansal Mehta also agreed with him and even lashed out at KRK. This, however, didn't go down well with the Deshdrohi actor and he later promised fans of soon sharing a video in which he was supposed to review the above-mentioned filmmakers. (via spotboye)

Hansal Mehta swiftly took notice of it and reposted his tweet saying, "Don't you dare mess with me. I will not take any slander or abuse lying down. Your bullying will not work with me. Your filth can neither make nor break me. Stay away. Consider this a warning.” Well, Mehta is in no mood to stop. After expressing disappointment regarding the fact that certain Bollywood celebs support KRK, he has now made a petition requesting Amitabh Bachchan to unfollow him on twitter. Taking to his Twitter account, Hansal shared the petition and requested all his followers to sign it.

He wrote in the tweet, "Request Mr. Amitabh Bachchan to unfollow Kamaal R Khan aka KRK on social media. https://t.co/9rGn4FHXAn via @ChangeOrg_India."

Furthermore, Hansal Mehta also criticised the concept of blind items, which, as per his point of view, is an attempt to defame a celebrity's image without any substantial proof. "A lot is toxic in the times we live in. Some of that toxicity exists within the film industry and entertainment media too. Blind items, vicious bashing and a lot of trash masquerading as news adorns tabloids. It has to be fought. Not with whataboutery. One step at a time," wrote Hansal.
