The gutsy Preity Zinta was in news yesterday for having thrown out a man from a theater who allegedly preferred sitting while the national anthem was being played. Preity was in the cinema hall to watch Hrithik Roshan's Bang Bang when the incident happened. The news came to light when Preity tweeted about the episode. '#bangbang be4 Bang Bang ! Had2 throw a guy out of the Theater as he refused 2stand up4 our National Anthem! Can u believe it?Now movie time," wrote Preity on her official twitter account. Her bravado however didn't earn her much brownie points on the social networking site where many followers registered their disapproval at her action. Wrote one user, "Jingoistic hypernationalism is in. Entitled celebrities like Preity Zinta with power and privilege can infringe on people's right to expression." Not surprisingly, Preity did a double take and tweeted, "For your info, it was not me but people from the theater who asked him to leave and I seconded the opinion so there would be no trouble," replied Preity.
