MUMBAI: Upcoming movie of Akshay Kumar, titled 'Raksha Bandhan', which also stars Bhumi Pednekar in the lead role, has been the talk of the town ever since it was in the making. The movie is directed by Anand L Rai and has been a much anticipated one, because of the family-drama element and the different avatar of the actor Akshay Kumar, that fans will get to see in this upcoming emotional drama.
Today, finally the trailer of the movie Raksha Bandhan is out and it has all the elements which are required for a family entertainer and it will definitely leave you with teary eyes.

In the trailer, we see actor Akshay Kumar, who is the brother of four sisters is on a mission to get his sisters married, so that he can be happily married to his love, which is played by Bhumi Pednekar. The trailer speaks about the love and the bond which a brother shares with his four sisters and on the other hand, we get to see the glimpses of the romance, which is shared by Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar. The trailer on one side will make you laugh and on the other hand, it will hit the emotional chord and will make you cry.

Expectation from the movie

No doubt we are going to see the actor Akshay Kumar once again in a never seen before character of a brother to four sisters and it will be amazing to see how the actor has displayed all the hardships and struggles to get his four sisters married. Also, it will be a treat to watch the chemistry between Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar once again. No doubt we love the actor Akshay Kumar and his emotional side and we get to see more of his emotional angle in this movie. We get to see less family drama in the Bollywood industry and this is one such movie, which can be seen with the entire family which throws  light on the brother and sister relationship. Also, the solid BGM and the music throughout the trailer also promises that the movie will be high on music.

The cast of the movie

Directed by Aanand L. Rai and produced by Zee Studios, Colour Yellow Productions and Cape of Good Films, Raksha Bandhan also has Sahejmeen Kaur, Deepika Khanna, Sadia Khateeb and Smrithi Srikanth who play Kumar's sisters. The film will theatrically release on 11 August 2022.
