While most of the film fraternity has chosen not to take sides in the ongoing Salman Khan controversy of his ‘raped woman’ analogy, his former co-star has come out in the open to voice her opinion on the actor.

Renuka Shahane, who starred as Salman Khan’s much-loved Bhabhi in Hum Aapke Hain Kaun, tweeted a strong-worded quote, displaying her fierce side.

While, Gautam Gulati, part of Salman’s Bigg Boss 9, has come out in Bhai’s support. While speaking to an entertainment site, he said, “He is a bindaas man. But you know after all even he is a human being, he is bound to make mistakes. And you know there are times when you say something but you actually don’t mean it. It just slips out of your mind and then you realise you shouldn’t have said it. Salman too might have made the ‘raped woman’ comment just like that without even thinking which I agree is NOT good. But at the same time I believe he didn’t have any wrong intention behind it for sure. Mere saath bhi aise hota hai bolne kuch aur jaata hu saamne wala kuch aur samajhta hai. Obviously I wouldn’t make a comment like that but sabke saath hota hai. So I don’t think Salman’s intention was to hurt someone though he shouldn’t have made such a statement.”

So, whose side are you on? Let us know in the comments section below…
