Looks like after his debut film Dabangg, director Abhinav Kashyap has fallen in love with the name Chulbul (Salman played Chulbul Pandey in the above film).

Interestingly, Abhinav’s next Ranbir Kapoor- starrer Besharam stars Rishi Kapoor as Inspector Chulbul . Admits the director, “Chulbul is a name that has come from me, so I can make fun of myself, I am not laughing at anyone else."

Meanwhile, with the promo of Besharam titled Tennu vekhya toh ye jaana sanam, Kashyap gives an indication that this is a romantic film.

"Trailer begins with the Punjabi version of Tujhe dekha toh ye jana sanam and there is no impression of Shah Rukh Khan.

Dilwale Dulhania Le Jaenge (DDLJ) is one of the all time great films, which showcases an image of love stories and I have just used that image in my own way because this is predominantly a masala romantic comedy flick. So that is just a platform to explain that it is a love story," he said.

Besharam also stars Neetu Singh and Pallavi Sharda who made her debut with Karan Johar's My Name Is Khan.

The film is slated for a 2 October release (2013).
