MUMBAI: Saif Ali Khan, has been severely hurt in a fight with a burglar who allegedly broke into his house. The actor has been brought to Lilavati Hospital for treatment after suffering several stab wounds in the incident. Saif's condition is being cautiously watched after he reportedly suffered multiple injuries during the altercation, according to reports.

Mumbai Police have established that a thief was engaged in the 4 AM incident. The culprit is presently being sought by the police. Currently, Saif Ali Khan's home is being searched using CCTV footage by the Mumbai Police and the Crime Branch team. Saif was awakened by the commotion as his servant tried to capture the thief.

The cops in a statement said, “An unidentified person intruded in the residence of Actor Saif Ali Khan.The actor and the intruder had a scuffle. The actor is injured and is being treated. Investigation is going on.”
Dr. Niraj Uttamani from Lilavati hospital revealed, “Saif AliKhan was attacked by an unidentified person in his house. He was brought in at 3:30 am in Lilavati. He has six injuries, two of which are deeper. One of
the injuries is closer to his spine. We are operating on him.
