MUMBAI: Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif’s friendship goes way back to the year 2005 when they both worked together in David Dhawan's directorial titled Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya. Since then, there were reports doing the rounds that Salman and Katrina were dating. But when Katrina started dating Ranbir Kapoor, their relationship reportedly soured. The duo rubbished all the rumours and went on to work in Ek Tha Tiger, which released in 2012.
Salman and Katrina have worked together in movies like Partner, Yuvvraaj, and Tiger Zinda Hai. Currently, they are shooting for Bharat, which will be hitting the screens next year.
Katrina while talking to leading publication was asked about Salman being a guardian angel in her life, to which the actress said that Salman is a dear friend. She said the surprisingly bizarre thing is they don’t speak for weeks and months, but if she is upset during this time, Salman suddenly comes and meets her.
Katrina was further asked if Salman comes to know that she is upset even if she doesn’t share it with him. The ace actress said that he doesn’t and that it’s only a strange coincidence yet somehow comforting. She also feels blessed to have six sisters and her mother, who are her support system.
