Having debuted on the movie scene with UTV Motion Pictures’ Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana in 2012, Sameer Sharma laid low for a brief spell because the film did not do well commercially. Come February 2013 and Manish is ready with not one but two scripts. The first film that he has taken on hand is Jugalbandi, a story based on music. It would tell the story of two musicians, the guru and the shishya. Sameer has got a special interest on music because of his connect with the late legendary singer Mukesh who happens to be his maternal grandfather. He intends to sign Farhan Akhtar as the lead. Sameer has titled his second film as Jageera via Silomasco that would be an out-and-out comedy. He hopes to rope in Irrfan Khan for this project.
