MUMBAI: This morning, we woke up to another extremely shocking news. Legendary choreographer Saroj Khan is no more. She died of cardiac arrest in the wee hours of the morning. Masterji, as she was fondly called in the industry, was admitted at the hospital a few days ago after she complained of breathing issues.

Saroj Khan's mortal remains were taken to the Awais-e-Qarni Muslim Kabristan in Malad for burial. Her daughter is devastated and broke down outside the cemetery.

Saroj Khan was 71 and has given the industry numerable masterpieces through her work. The industry is deeply saddened with this loss. Madhuri Dixit, who was said to be her muse, is devasted by the news. The actress tweeted, “I'm devastated by the loss of my friend and guru, Saroj Khan. Will always be grateful for her work in helping me reach my full potential in dance. The world has lost an amazingly talented person. I will miss you My sincere condolences to the family. #RIPSarojji.”
