MUMBAI: 2022 was a great year for Kartik Aaryan. He gave a super hit like Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and also surprised one and all with his performance in the OTT release Freddy. Now, he has multiple interesting projects lined up and one of them is Shehzada. 

Shehzada also stars Kriti Sanon in the lead role and the actor’s fans are excited to watch them on the big screen together after Luka Chuppi. Shehzada is directed by Rohit Dhawan, and it’s a remake of Allu Arjun starrer Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo.

The Telugu film also starred Pooja Hegde and Tabu in pivotal roles. While Kriti steps into the shoes of Pooja for Shehzada, Manisha Koirala portrays the role that was played by Tabu in the original movie. 

The shooting of Shehzada has been wrapped up and it was shot in Mumbai, Delhi, and Mauritius. We got our hands on some BTS pictures from the sets of the film. Check out those pictures below…

In 2022, apart from Drishyam 2, no remake worked at the box office. Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo was a super hit Telugu film, and the film’s Hindi version is also available. So, it will be interesting to see what response Shehzada will get at the box office. 

On Kartik’s birthday last year, the film’s teaser was released, and now, the trailer of Shehzada will be out on 12th January 2023. The movie is slated to hit the big screens on 10th February 2023.
