MUMBAI: Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh were present to unveil the theatrical trailer of their upcoming film 83 on the Burj Khalifa in Dubai. Some days back, we saw the trailer of Kurup on the iconic landmark. For the event, Ranveer wore a gold shimmering hoodie while Deepika Padukone was in a red outfit. He matched his brown velvet pants with that golden hoodie. Deepika Padukone also wore something a little different.

Soon their pictures went viral on social media and fans started sharing their views on his golden avatar. A user said, "His stylist should be put behind the bar while another commented that he could not control his laugh. One fan commented that seriously is this worth or they need to show actual Kapil sir pic over there. Some of the comments were directed to his unisex dressing style. He wrote, "Fir se phen liye Deepika ke kapde," and seeing the dazzle one wrote, "Yeh chamkili light kyu banke gya hai?". Annoyed, another fan commented, "Where is the super dislike button for all his outfits... or is he coming next in Ramayana or Mahabharat epics!

Well, now Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone have been back in the city. 83 is all set to hit the silver screen on 24th December. Ranveer will be seen as Kapil Dev in 83 while Deepika Padukone will be seen as Romi Dev. The star cast also includes Pankaj Tripathi, Harrdy Sandhu, Adinath Kothare, Chirag Patil, Ammy Virk, and others. It is directed by Kabir Khan.
