The actress has decided to quit Twitter for some time because she feels that there is a lot of negativity surrounding it. The ace actress Tweeted saying, ‘I’m going off twitter for a while. It’s just too negative. Peace and love to all!’
One of the reasons could be that she was recently trolled on Instagram when she spoke about the population in Mumbai and was trolled for the same.
Sonam has often been harassed by Twitter users who feel the need to impart ‘wisdom’. When she changed her name to Sonam K Ahuja right after her marriage, people questioned why she was in a rush to change her name. The feeling of entitlement makes certain people believe they can get away with saying many things. A hurt Sonam was supported by Ekta Kapoor in this case.
