MUMBAI: Sonu Sood never fails to win his fans’ hearts with his acting chops and kind gestures. He has been relentlessly helping migrant workers reach their hometown ever since the lockdown started and has been extended for over two months now. This hard work of the actor is hitting the headlines. The actor who had sent home a migrant worker two weeks ago and was pregnant, after giving birth to her child named her little one after the actor’s name. Now this warm gesture of the woman, got the actor all emotional. Hence taking to his Twitter account, he mentioned this being his biggest award.

One of the Twitter users had tweeted about it; the tweet read, “Pregnant woman, who arrived in Darbhanga from Mumbai, named her child 'Sonu Sood' The work speaks, And that work is respected, Later that honor is named ...Thank you sir @SonuSood”  To which Sonu replied, “This is my biggest award.”  The actor in his chat session with film critic Anupama Chopra, revealed the newborn’s name, which is Sonu Sood Shrivastav. The actor also shared the moment when he asked the parents why would they do so on the chat session. 

He told, “I said, how can it be Sonu Sood as you are Shrivastav. It could probably be Sonu Shrivastav, but she said, ‘Nahi humney bachche ka naam Sonu Sood Shrivastav rakha hai.’ That was so sweet; I was touched”
