The last time they sizzled on the big screen together, they created history in Devdas.

Now, fourteen years later, they might just make our hearts beat faster again. Yes, if reports are to be believed, Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan is all set to romance Shah Rukh Khan in the much-awaited romance Aye Dil Hai Mushkil (ADHM).

According to a popular daily, the Karan Johar magnum opus will see SRK in a special appearance where he would be paired opposite Ash.

There's also strong buzz going around that the movie is loosely based on Doosra Aadmi, which started Rishi Kapoor, Neetu Singh, Raakhee in the lead, with Shashi Kapoor in a cameo. Interestingly, Rishi and Neetu's son and current heartthrob Ranbir is part of ADHM, along with Ash and Anushka Sharma, the daily added.

If things work out, the SRK-Ash charisma would be back on the screens soon. They were supposed to star in the rom-com Chalte Chalte as well, but Aishwarya allegedly walked out of the movie due to supposed fights with her rumoured then-boyfriend Salman Khan. Ash was replaced by Rani Mujerjee and the movie became a super hit.
