Pritam excited to reunite with Sunidhi after 'Kamli'

Composer Pritam is excited about working with singer Sunidhi Chauhan for a show after their hit song "Kamli" from the 2013 film "Dhoom: 3".

They will judge the music reality show "Dil Hai Hindustani 2" along with rapper Badshah.

"It is always a pleasure to work with Sunidhi since we have done some really good work together in movies like 'Dhoom: 3', 'Chocolate' and 'Garam Masala'. In fact, 'Dil Hai Hindustani 2' is like a reunion for us after our collaboration on 'Kamli'," Pritam said in a statement.

Anupam wishes Kirron to do more for Chandigarh on birthday

On Kirron Kher's 63rd birthday on Thursday, veteran actor Anupam Kher wished that the actress and politician continues to do excellent work for the country, especially for the people of Chandigarh.

"Happy birthday Kirron! May God give you all the happiness and peace in the world. May you continue to do excellent work for the country, especially for the people of Chandigarh," Anupam tweeted.

Kirron in 2014, was elected to the Lok Sabha, the lower house of Indian Parliament from Chandigarh.

Deepika Padukone safe in fire

Firemen succeeded in controlling a major blaze in the top floors of the 33-storey Beaumonde Towers after battling the leaping flames for nearly five hours and evacuating more than 90 residents here on Wednesday evening.

However, at least two firemen suffered from suffocation and were rushed to a hospital.

Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone, who lives in the same building on the 26th floor, tweeted that she was safe and expressed her prayers for the well-being of the firefighters.

"I am safe. Thank You everyone. Let us pray for our firefighters who are at site risking their lives," she tweeted.

Sanjay Dutt feels inspired by acid attack survivors

Actor Sanjay Dutt says acid attack survivors are real-life heroes and an inspiration to all.

Sanjay on Wednesday visited Sheroes Hangout cafe here after receiving an invite from the team through Twitter. Overwhelmed by the invitation, he made sure to spend some quality time with acid attack survivors who run the café.

"They are real-life heroes and these strong women are an inspiration to all of us. They have shown unwavering strength to fight and survive in the most difficult situations," Sanjay said in a statement.

‘Bhavesh Joshi...' actor to play drug peddler in British film

Actor Ashish Verma, who has been receiving rave reviews for his role in "Bhavesh Joshi Superhero", will play a drug peddler who carries a specific type of drug that can make people see the future, in a British film titled "Imperial Blue".

It is not the lead role but an important one.

"I am playing Sanjay, a drug peddler, who carries the drug, which makes one see the future. As far as playing the protagonist is concerned, every actor would love to play the protagonist and with changing time, you see a lot of films which no longer subscribe to the typical notion of a 'hero', 'Bhavesh Joshi...' being one of them," Ashish told.

Anupam Kher calls Narendra Modi 'rockstar'

Veteran actor Anupam Kher called Prime Minister Narendra Modi a "rockstar" after the latter posted his fitness video on social media.

Modi on Wednesday took to Twitter to share his workout video, and wrote: "Here are moments from my morning exercises. Apart from Yoga, I walk on a track inspired by the Panchtatvas or five elements of nature - Prithvi (earth), Jal (water), Agni (fire), Vayu (air), Aakash (sky).This is extremely refreshing and rejuvenating. I also practice breathing exercises. Hum fit toh India fit."

Impressed by it, Anupam wrote: "Prime Minister Narendra Modi! You are a rockstar. What an amazingly inspirational morning exercise video. Thank you for sharing it. Jai Ho."

Daisy had to put in a lot of hard work to perform the stunts and had to undergo intensive training in mixed martial arts.
