Okay so we have a good news and a bad news. Bad one first. SRK fans will have to wait a bit more to see their superstar on celluloid in 2015 for the release of his movie Fan has just been postponed. But the good news is that Khiladi Akshay Kumar and Sidharth Malhotra starrer Brothers will be released instead by Karan Johar on this year's Independence Day. 

And guess who is the man behind this sudden change of dates. None other than Aditya Chopra. Revealing this was Karan Johar who tweeted:

"Adi just called and asked me to release BROTHERS on the 14th of August,2015 as FAN is postponed...gestures likes this make my day special..."

While Karan didn't mention the reason behind Aditya Chopra postponing the release of Fan, we feel it could have much to do with Salman Khan's Bajrangi Bhaijaan which is slated for an Eid release. It was rumoured that YRF who is the production house of both Fan and Bajrangi Bhaijaan wanted to swap the release dates of both movies with Fan to come out as an Eid release and Bajrangi Bhaijaan as an Independence Day special. However, apparently director Kabir Khan who is helming Bajrangi Bhaijaan refused the same. 

Now with Fan out of the way, everyone can breathe easy, we say.
