MUMBAI : After Sushant Singh Rajput’s sudden and untimely demise, his father KK Singh lodged an FIR against his son’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty and five others, in Bihar’s Patna, accusing them of abetment of suicide. Now, as the Enforcement Directorate investigates the money laundering angle in Sushant Singh Rajput death case, in an interview, SSR's family lawyer Vikas Singh revealed that the late actor's family is suspecting murder with flatmate Siddharth Pithani changing his statements. According to a report in Pinkvilla.com, when questioned about Sushant Singh Rajput’s family saying that the actor’s demise was allegedly a suicide and wanted an abetment charge against Rhea, but now states that it’s a murder, family lawyer Vikas Singh mentioned how it only happened when flatmate Siddharth Pithani changed his stand. The family lawyer shared that the family of the late actor is suspecting a murder due to the changing stance of Rajput’s flatmate Siddharth Pithani who was present in Sushant’s Mumbai residence on the day of his demise.

When questioned further if Siddharth Pithani’s name will be added in the FIR as he is emerging as a co-conspirator, Vikas Singh said, “yes very soon.” Rajput’s family lawyer mentioned that Pithani will be named in the FIR as a co-conspirator soon. Moving on, talking about the late actor’s case being transferred to the CBI, Rajput’s family lawyer said, “we have presented our case and we are only waiting for the judgement of the SC but we will want it to be transferred to CBI.'' He reiterated that the investigation must be transferred to the CBI.

Meanwhile, Sushant Singh Rajput’s family lawyer also reacted to a four-page long statement released by Rhea Chakraborty’s lawyer Satish Maneshinde and said, “We are not interested in her self-certification and how can she give herself a certificate when ED is still investigating the case, but I am sure truth will prevail and CBI has begun its investigation up until now the Mumbai police was handling with kids gloves.'' He mentioned how the family is not interested in Rhea’s self-clarification  and questioned how she can give herself a certificate while the investigation is still going on.

Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead, hanging in his Mumbai residence on June 14. The actor allegedly died by suicide and no note was found. Currently, the ED office is investigating the money laundering angle and so far, Rhea and her family, Sushant’s staff, late actor’s manager, sister Meethu Singh and father KK Singh have been summoned for questioning.
