SSR fans rejoice as Karan Johar steps down from MAMI Board

SSR fans seem to be the happiest as the director steps down from MAMI.

MUMBAI : Karan Johar in the past few weeks has grabbed the headlines for being the brand ambassador of nepotism. The director-producer faced a lot of backlash when he posted for Sushant Singh Rajput post his demise, as the audience targeted him for being biased towards star kids.

Fans have also requested for a ban on all Dharma movies and on Koffee With Karan. The director has received death threats, and a case has been filed against him with regard to Sushant's suicide.

Well, it seems like Karan couldn’t take all this and has now decided to quit the MAMI board. That's right. He has resigned. The reason is still unknown but there are various media reports doing the rounds that it is owing to the negativity surrounding him and because no one showed their support for him.

This has brought happiness for all those people who were against the director and the production house.

Many fans have reacted to this decision by saying that they are happy and stated that it’s time to boycott all his movies including the ones that he produces.

Fans have also mentioned that this is the only good news of 2020 and they are glad to hear it. They added that it is only the beginning of it and the director is going to lose and face many more things.

Karan has unfollowed almost everyone on Twitter and has made his Instagram comments section limited. This comes in the wake of a raging debate on nepotism, sparked off after Sushant Singh Rajput ended his life on June 14.

As per media reports, it seems that the filmmaker is upset with the social media bashing and lack of support from his friends from the fraternity.

The times have changed, and now, the audiences are ruling the roost and are showing the dark side and the mafia group of Bollywood.

Sushant Singh Rajput has become the voice for many struggling actors and will be one of the reasons why nepotism will not be encouraged anymore.
