MUMBAI: Yesterday, there was a big breakthrough in the SSR case, as the media accessed the WhatsApp chats between Rhea and her close aides, which led to a drug angle in the case. Owing to his development, the Narcotics Department will also be probing the case.
Now, Times Now seems to have tracked down the alleged drug peddler whom the actress chatted with way back in 2017.
As per Times Now, the individual’s name is Gaurav Arya. When the channel contacted him, he denied knowing Rhea and said that he is clueless about the conversation they were referring to.
The case has taken a new turn after the drug deal between Rhea and her close associates was exposed, and the report has been submitted to the CBI and Narcotics Department by the ED.
Rhea tried her level best to delete the chats, but the ED retrieved them when the digital evidence was sent for forensic test.
The CBI investigation is still on, and as we write this, the CBI is grilling Siddarth Pithani and Neeraj for the fifth time, as their statements are have been contradictory.
