MUMBAI : Sushant Singh Rajput’s death by suicide on June 14, 2020, sent a shockwave across the nation. In the days following his demise, there was outrage on social media and many fans refused to believe that Sushant could end his own life. While the final postmortem report stated that Sushant died of asphyxia due to hanging, many of his fans suspected foul play. A section of netizens as well as famous personalities such as Roopa Ganguly, Shekhar Suman have been demanding a CBI inquiry. Now, MP Subramanian Swamy explained why he thinks Sushant Singh Rajput was murdered.

Subramanian Swamy took to his social media to share a picture of a list stating 26 points in all; 24 out of which support murder theory. The list states ‘no froth from mouth’, ‘no tongue protrusion’, ‘various marks on body’, ‘no suicide note’, and many other points pointing towards and supporting murder theory. In Subramanian Swamy’s list, while 24 points support murder theory, only 2 points support that the actor died by suicide. Those, as stated in the list shared by the BJP MP, are- ‘anti-depressant drugs found in room’, and ‘SSR’s non-existence on social media’.

Sharing the list on social media, Subramanian Swamy wrote, “Why I think Sushanth Singh Rajput was murdered.”

Meanwhile, after Sushant Singh Rajput’s father KK Singh filed an FIR in Bihar accusing Rhea Chakraborty of abetting the actor’s suicide, a team of Bihar Police arrived in Mumbai to investigate the matter. After that, according to ANI, Rhea’s lawyer Satish Maneshinde informed on Monday that a petition was filed by Rhea in Supreme Court seeking the transfer of investigation in Sushant Singh Rajput's death to Mumbai.
