MUMBAI: Sushant Singh Rajput’s death by suicide on June 14 left the nation shocked. The actor was found dead in his apartment in Bandra, Mumbai. The investigation in Sushant’s suicide case is currently going on, and the Mumbai Police have reportedly recorded 27 people’s statements. In the days following Sushant’s death, there was social media outrage as people called out nepotism in Bollywood. Maharashtra Home Minister stated that ‘professional rivalry’ angle will also be probed. Now, a post by Mahesh Bhatt’s associate Suhrita Das is going viral and it stated that Rhea Chakraborty would seek counsel from Mahesh Bhatt regarding Sushant Singh Rajput.

Suhrita Das, who, according to her Facebook bio, works for Vishesh Films- a film producing company owned by Mahesh and Mukesh Bhatt- took to her social media to pen a lengthy note. The post was dated June 14, and it read, “Dear Rhea, When the world will be pouring grief for Sushant Singh Rajput and expressing shock and condolence I stand by you firm and strong. Having been a silent spectator to your impossible attempts at trying to keep him together and going.... it is my moral duty as a mother and a citizen of this country to tell once and for all that clinical depression is a catastrophe that medical science has no solution or answer to.” 

The post further mentioned about Rhea Chakraborty seeking counsel from Mahesh Bhatt. “Every time you came running to the office to seek counsel from Bhatt Saab or spoke to him on the phone I’ve seen your journey , your struggle. Cant forget the evening in Sushant’s terrace when it almost felt like everything was normal in the world while deep within he was slipping away. Sir saw that, that’s why he shared the very words his Master UG told him warning him about Parveen Babi, “walk away or this will take you down under along with.”You gave your everything and more, you did more much more than your bit woman,” the note concluded. The post seems to have been deleted but a portal had already taken a screen grab of it. Take a look below.
