MUMBAI: A lot of discussions are happening around Sushant Singh Rajput's death. Even after two months from his demise, the case has not been closed. Now, the CBI has taken over the investigation of Sushant Singh Rajput's death and many revelations are coming to the fore. Amidst all of this, a former friend of late Sushant Singh Rajput has opened up and shared how the actor drifted away from his friends. To Times Now, the friend has shared that SSR drifted from friends after Rhea Chakraborty and Showik Chakraborty became his priority.
In the interview, the friend has claimed that once Rhea Chakraborty became close to Sushant Singh Rajput, she introduced him to her family. Rhea and Showik used to be around Sushant Singh Rajput and even Showik's friends used to be around. So the rest of the team started drifting apart as Rhea became his priority, suggested the friend. She also suggested that after SSR got all busy with Chhicchore promotions, he got more distant.
The friend also spoke about Sushant's finances and stated it didn't seem alarming then when Rhea used his money. She also shared that SSR wasn't much bothered or would pay attention to money unless some major transactions were made.

Meanwhile, a friend of SSR also claimed that it was Rhea who put thoughts of Supernatural powers in his head. "Rhea put these thoughts of supernatural powers in Sushant Singh Rajput's head and also controlled his career and finances," quoted a friend to Times Now.
The CBI took over the investigation of Kai Po Che actor's death case after the Supreme Court ordered the investigating agency to do so.
