MUMBAI: Sushant Singh Rajput died by suicide on June 14, 2020, and the Mumbai Police was investigating Sushant’s death and also recorded statements of many people linked to Sushant, including his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty, Dil Bechara co-star Sanjana Sanghi, Mahesh Bhatt, Dharma CEO Apoorva Mehta, among others. Now, in a new twist to the case, Sushant’s father filed an FIR against Rhea Chakraborty, reportedly alleging abetment of suicide among other things. Now, Sushant’s cousin Neeraj Kumar Singh has revealed that the family wants Rhea to be arrested.

After the FIR was filed by Sushant’s father KK Singh against Rhea Chakraborty in Patna, a team of Bihar Police arrived in Mumbai to investigate. While speaking to Times Now, Sushant’s cousin Neeraj Kumar Singh said that things are slowly coming forward and an FIR was lodged, bringing forth those details which were missing earlier. “Har cheez saamne aa rahi hai dheere dheere aur jo FIR kiya gaya hai, jo tabse chhooth raha tha Mumbai Police ke jaanch me, wo cheezon ko laaya gaya hai saamne and FIR kiya gaya hai,” said Neeraj Kumar Singh.

He also revealed that the family wants Rhea Chakraborty and others named in the FIR to be arrested by the police; mentioning that they should be probed and investigated after the arrest. He also urged Mumbai Police to support Bihar Police in the investigation of this case.
