MUMBAI: Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput's sudden and shocking demise has left his family, fans and film fraternity mourning. The actor was found hanging at his Bandra residence on June 14, 2020. He was battling depression for the past few months. 

It was recently reported that the Bandra Police have recorded the statements of more than 27 people in connection to Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide case. After the statements of people including SSR’s family members, rumoured girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty and others were recorded, The Mumbai police is currently investigating the matter and have recorded statements of Sushant's friends, staff and associates. On Monday, the police will be interrogating Sushant Singh Rajput's last film co-star Sanjana Sanghi to know more details about the actor.

Sanjana Sanghi is all set to make her debut in Sushant Singh Rajput's last film Dil Bechara. It was after Sushant’s demise that his Dil Bechara co-star Sanjana Sanghi shared a video and broke down in tears talking about the late actor. On the other hand, last year, it was reported that Sanjana has alleged sexual harassment claims on Sushant Singh Rajput, but the actor had then denied such claims, finally clarifying that those were baseless rumours .

Sushant's last movie 'Dil Bechara' marking the debut of Sanjana Sanghi will be released on July 24. The film will not have a theatrical release as demanded by his fans online but will stream on DisneyPlusHostar.The official poster of the film that also stars Sanjana Sanghi and Saif Ali Khan was released yesterday. The film also marks the debut of Mukesh Chhabra and is slated to release on July 24.
