Sushant Singh Rajput's father says he was born after 'Teen Saal Ki Mannat’

Sushant Singh Rajput passed away on 14 June. In an interview with a portal, his father spoke about him. The late actor’s father said that he was born after 'Teen Saal Ki Mannat’.

MUMBAI: Sushant Singh Rajput’s tragic demise left everyone in a state of shock. He passed away on 14 June after hanging himself in his Bandra residence. Reports say that he was battling with depression and as per Rhea Chakraborty in her police statement, she revealed that Sushant had stopped taking his medication and she tried to coax him but to no avail. 11 days after his death, his father for the first time spoke about his late son Sushant, right from talking about Sushant’s life to his career to his relationship status while speaking to Tadka Bollywood.

While talking to Tadka Bollywood, his father revealed that after a lot of prayers, God blessed them Sushant Singh Rajput and called him a gifted child. His father also spoke about his academic journey and told the portal he was a brilliant and sincere child who wanted to make his life on his own terms. His father also recalled the time when SSR shared the news of bagging the lead role on Pavitra Rishta and the movies after that. Sushant's dad said, "Bohot mannat maang ke paida hua tha Sushant. 3 saal mannat maangi thi uske liye. 4 ladkiyon main ek ladka tha." On being further probed about him being special his farther expressed, "Aur jinke liye itni mannat maangte hain unke sath yahi hota hai" 

Sushant's father also revealed that he chose a spiritual path, post his wife's death in 2002. He shared his thoughts on losing Sushant at an early age, to which he said that his physical relationship with his son will always be there but it is a spiritual connection that he has with his soul and that once a person understands that it doesn't affect them. He also shared that many people came and spoke to him post the actor's death and were more emotional than him.
