Model-turned-actress Tanushree Chakraborty, who played key roles in flicks like Uro Chithi, Bedroom and Obhishopto Nighty, for the first time will be seen playing a double role in an upcoming Bengali suspense thriller titled Chorabali helmed by Shubhrajit Mitra.

“I am playing a double role in the film as my character in the story has two shades. The film has been done in the pattern of European thrillers and I am doing such a project for the first time,” Tanushree said about her role without revealing much to Tellychakkar.com at the trailer and music launch of the film at a city hotel.

When quizzed how challenging was it to essay two different roles, the pretty lady quipped, “Every work is at first challenging.”

Have you read any book for inspiration? “I like reading detective books. I have read Sharadindu Bandyopadhyay, a few stories from Feluda series and a few western thrillers. But I didn’t read anything for this movie.”

“We have done workshop where our director made us understand our characters well. I hope audience would like my performance in the film,” she added.
