MUMBAI: The world around us is very uncertain and people are scared of the future. At this time, we can see many public figures around getting together to create products to encourage people to hang in there. In one such endeavour, producer Teenna Swayyam is part of the song Guzarjayega. Talking about the same, she says, “This idea came to me through my friend Jay Verma. I was on the phone with him and he happened to mention this initiative and it struck a chord almost immediately with me. I told him that I want to be a part of it. These are such troubled times, the energy is so heavy around us. I wanted to, in my own way, help people deal with the ongoing situation with hope and positivity. That’s when this initiative occurred to me and I’m so glad it did,” she says, adding, “This is an initiative to let people know that we’re all in this together and in the hope of a brighter tomorrow.”

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has lent his voice to the song, which is amazing, says Teenna. “Sir Amitabh Bachchan is a legend and we’re all aware of that, having him do the voice over for us has taken this song to the next level and reach millions of hearts,” he says.

In fact, the audience has lapped up the song in no time. “The feedback has been positive and overwhelming. I’ve been getting calls and messages from family, friends and colleagues, saying they had goosebumps and it moved them to tears. Our overall objective has been met and this has been a truly a humbling experience,” she says.

Meanwhile, Teena has been struggling during the lockdown. “My lockdown has been just like anybody else’s, there are moments of uncertainty and then there is a burst of positivity. Along with that, I’ve been exercising a lot and have discovered that I’m an excellent cook, I love to whip up goodies for my family,” she says.
