MUMBAI: At several instances, celebs have said nasty things about their exes and have grabbed eyeballs. A breakup is never easy, and people go through a lot during this process. Sometimes, it is handled maturely, but at other times, things get dirty and go out of proportion. Several celebs have had bad relationship experiences and have opened up about the same. While many remain tight-lipped about their issues, there are a few who doesn't hesitate from speaking about them in public.

In Bollywood, a few went overboard and said nasty things about their exes and made headlines. Have a look.

Shilpa Shetty and Akshay Kumar

In 2000, Shilpa Shetty spoke about her bitter breakup with Akshay Kumar. The two had fallen in love with each other while they working on Main Khiladi Tu Anari. The actress said, "Akshay Kumar used me and conveniently dropped me after he found someone else. The only person, I was upset with, was him. But I'm sure he'll get it all back. It's not easy to forget the past so soon, but I'm glad I've had the strength to move on. Today, he's a forgotten chapter as far as I'm concerned. I will never work with him again."

Aishwarya Rai and Salman Khan

Aishwarya and Salman's breakup was quite hyped. The two accused each other of many things. Aishwarya spoke about her issues with Salman and said, "After we broke up, he would call me and talk rubbish. He also suspected me of having affairs with my co-stars. I was linked-up with everyone, from Abhishek Bachchan to Shah Rukh Khan. There were times when Salman got physical with me, luckily without leaving marks and I would go to work as if nothing had happened."

Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor

Shahid and Kareena were one of the ideal couples in Bollywood. But things took a u-turn and the two parted ways, leaving their fans heartbroken. During a television chat show, Shahid was asked about working with Kareena after their break. To this, the actor had said, "If my director wants me to work with a cow, or a buffalo, as an actor—I'm ready to do it. I blame it on my being a good boyfriend. I was in a four-and-a-half-year-old relationship and was very committed. Now, I have learnt better. And I shall not be the most wonderful boyfriend."

Amrita Singh and Saif Ali Khan

It was in 2005 when Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh got divorced. Post their nasty divorce, Saif said, "It isn't nice to be constantly reminded of how worthless you are and to have taunts, jeers, and abuses thrown at your mother and sister all the time. I've gone through all of it." 

Kangana Ranaut and Hrithik Roshan

Though Hrithik Roshan never accepted that he was dating Kangana Ranaut while he was still married to Sussanne Khan, the actress, in various media interactions, interviews, and social media posts blamed him for cheating. Kangana, in one of her tweets, called Hrithik "silly ex" and wrote, "Yes, many lame rumours are doing rounds, even a dumb ass can tell where these rumours are coming from. I don't know why exes do silly things to get your attention. For me that chapter is over and I don't dig graves."
